We're now a Community Interest Company

We have some brilliant news to share.

On 9 June 2026, Luton Fitness Park was officially registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC) — company number 17271021.

What is a CIC?

A Community Interest Company is a type of UK company set up specifically to benefit the community, not private shareholders.

That means our purpose is locked in: everything we do has to serve the people of Luton and the goal of building an inclusive outdoor fitness park.

Why we did it

Registering as a CIC gives the project a stronger foundation. It helps us:

• Build trust with partners, funders, and the council
• Show we're serious and accountable
• Keep the community at the heart of what we do

It's another step towards making Luton Fitness Park a reality.

What hasn't changed

We're still the same community-led campaign — driven by local people who want a free, welcoming space to move, connect, and belong.
