Why we rebranded to Luton Fitness Park

Hi everyone,
We wanted to share an important update about the project and the direction we're heading in.
As some of you may have noticed, we’ve rebranded from LutonCali to Luton Fitness Park.
Why the change?
When we first started, the idea was heavily centred around calisthenics. While that’s still a big part of what we want to build, we realised that the name "LutonCali" didn’t fully represent the bigger vision.
Our goal has always been to create a space that is:
- Open to all fitness levels — from complete beginners to experienced athletes
- Inclusive of all abilities
- Welcoming to a diverse range of people across the community
- Suitable for multiple types of training — not just calisthenics
The new name, Luton Fitness Park, better reflects that vision. It represents a space for everyone — whether you're looking to improve your health, try something new, or train seriously.
A bigger vision
This project isn’t just about building equipment — it’s about creating a community space that encourages:
- Health and wellbeing
- Social connection
- Accessibility to free fitness facilities
- Opportunities for people who may not feel comfortable in a gym environment
We want this to be something the whole of Luton can benefit from.
Special thanks
A huge thank you to Ruban Khalid for helping bring this new identity to life.
Ruban has designed:
- Our website
- Our poster
- Our roll-up banner
- And the overall visual identity of the project
